Hi all, today we’re going to dive right into the high-value uses of ChatGPT for bloggers.

Finding new topics, researching, writing, proofreading, promoting, and perfecting all take time and effort. Here’s a collection of the best of prompts we have been able to engineer to help you.

You can use the table of contents below to jump to any particular ChatGPT prompt that you need.

Table of Contents

1. Use ChatGPT to Help You Brainstorm Your Next Blog Post

Ai Lightning

So how can you get started with brainstorming with ChatGPT? It’s pretty simple. First, you just want to set the persona that you want to interact with. Then it will start asking questions. Let’s try it out.

Brainstorm Prompt #1 of 2

Acting as an enthusiastic ChatGPT and AI expert, write a short prompt using a friendly and helpful tone, with the goal of starting a brainstorming session about topics for a blog about ChatGPT that teaches the general public how to use ChatGPT better in their work or leisure.

  • We set the persona as a ChatGPT and AI expert
  • We told ChatGPT what we wanted it to write
  • We told ChatGPT the purpose of the blog
  • We told ChatGPT the audience for the blog

So after going back and forth a little with ChatGPT asking me questions about the blog and its suggesting areas of interest, I asked it to focus on questions people ask about applying ChatGPT and selected the area of interest as Educational Assistance.

Brainstorm Prompt #2 of 2

Let’s look at topics that I could write about using ChatGPT for Educational Assistance with the idea of coming up with 10 different titles. The titles should be descriptive and relate directly to the kinds of questions that people generally ask.

Great! Here are ten different potential titles for a blog post on using ChatGPT for educational assistance:

“How to Use ChatGPT to Study for Your Exams”

“ChatGPT: Your Personal Tutor for Homework Help”

“Using ChatGPT to Supplement Your Online Learning”

“Exploring the Benefits of ChatGPT for Language Learning”

“Mastering Math with ChatGPT: Tips and Tricks”

“How ChatGPT Can Help with Science Research Projects”

“ChatGPT for History Buffs: Exploring the Past with AI Assistance”

“ChatGPT for Writers: Using AI to Improve Your Essays and Papers”

“Customizing ChatGPT for Your Learning Style and Preferences”

“Maximizing Your Educational Potential with ChatGPT: A Guide”

Each of these titles addresses a different aspect of using ChatGPT for educational assistance and should provide readers with a clear idea of what they can expect to learn from the post. By exploring these topics in more depth and providing helpful tips and advice, you can create a blog that is informative and engaging for your readers.

Validation: Traffic

Brainstorming is great but the real question is, is anyone going to read my post?

So let’s take a look at the first suggested title.

“How to Use ChatGPT to Study for Your Exams”

I went over to Google Trends (free service) and tried a couple of searches, the results tell me people are searching on Google to learn how to use ChatGPT to study!

So I simplified and broadened the subject away from just exams because there was no trend data just for exams. I can also take a look at Google.com with the search “use ChatGPT to study”.

So there are some related questions from Google. Looking at trends data it turns out the “Using ChatGPT to Learn” looks like a winner as well.

Validation: Competition

So the next question is, if I write a blog post about using ChatGPT to study am I going to end up on page 100 on the Google search? Let’s take a look at the search.

  • The snippet is not terrible but it is not optimized for the question (we might be able to win it)
  • The other competitors are not big brand names like CBS, IBM, The New York Times
  • Most of the other articles are on point so it will be a head to head competiton.

So should I write an article about, “How to Use ChatGPT to Study”? Probably, the validation technique I used showed moderate competition and some search volume. So my brainstorming session with ChatGPT was a success!

There are other ways to validate brainstorming ideas but this method is both cheap and free it was developed by incomeschool.com. You can also find free videos of theirs on Youtube, Income School – YouTube.

2. Use ChatGPT to Create a Reader Avatar (Get In Their Headspace)

Reader Avatar

In sales, we often talk about a “customer avatar”. This is a person that we create in our minds to remind us of a few things.

  • We are selling to real people (even if we sell online).
  • We are here to serve those people
  • To serve them we need to know their needs and desires.

The better that you understand who you are writing for the better that you can serve the reader. The better you serve the reader the more likely they will link to your article, buy your products, link to your article, etc..

One thing ChatGPT is fantastic at is predicting probability.

So we are going to let it predict who is going to be reading an article about our subject.

Acting as an Expert Demographics Analyst, please take the [subject] I give you and use it to meet the goal.

Your goal is to create a comprehensive and highly detailed customer / reader avatar, taking into account their demographics, pain points, personality characteristics, and preferences. Use this avatar to generate insights about their behaviors, needs, and interests related to the [subject]. Be sure to follow the instructions below step by step,

Identify the type of person most likely to be the [subject] and create a detailed Avatar, considering factors such as age, income, education, and geographical location.

Analyze your Avatar’s goals, values, challenges, and pain points in regard to the [subject].

Create a set of questions your Avatar would likely ask about the [subject], considering their challenges and pain points.

Identify your Avatar’s sources of information, including websites they would likely visit and influencers they might follow, to learn more about the [subject].

Suggest products or services that your Avatar would be likely to purchase to meet their wants and needs related to the [subject].

Recommend a specific product or service a blogger could offer to cater to your Avatar’s needs and preferences related to the [subject].

If the Avatar purchased our product what would the physical effect be if any to their body? Describe a before and after state.

If the Avatar purchased our product how would they feel? Describe a before and after state.

If the Avatar purchased our product how would it change their day? Describe a before and after state.

If the Avatar purchased our product how would it change their status in society? Describe a before and after state.

What are the most likely USPs for this Avatar for our product?

Are there any particularly good hooks that we could use to advertise?

Propose a lead magnet, such as a free resource or downloadable, that a blogger could provide to your Avatar in exchange for their email address and subscription to an email list.

By using ChatGPT prompts and taking a writing course that focuses on this technique, Sarah can overcome her challenges and create more engaging content that stands out from other bloggers.

(Notice that I used a “continue” prompt in the middle to get ChatGPT to finish the report. The continue prompt is very useful when the response text is longer and ChatGPT stops in the middle.)

Is this perfect? Probably not. Is this you? Almost certainly not. Keep in mind though you can use this to start building up in your mind who your readers are. You can “regenerate” the output as much as you like to get new Avatars to look at. You can go and look at websites these personas visit to understand their “information funnel”. You can promote some of the products suggested or build your own! The sky is the limit get crackin’!

3. Use ChatGPT to Help you With Article Titles

A Rose is a Rose is a Rose but
Some Titles are Just Better

If you are trying to optimize your blog posts for Google you want to stay around 60 characters total for the title. You also want the title to draw attention and get clicked as well as be truthful about the content. That takes some skill.

Fortunately for us, we have someone hanging out that is pretty good at figuring these things out, cue ChatGPT. Here is the prompt let’s see what it comes up with.

Acting as a ChatGPT and AI expert, write 10 sets of 60 character titles using a friendly and helpful tone, with the goal of creating titles that will be clicked on Google for the subject “How to study using ChatGPT”. After creating the titles, take on the persona of an expert in Google Organic Traffic Marketing and Title Optimization, and review the titles. Rewrite the titles to have a higher probability of being clicked if they appear for related search terms.

  • First I asked ChatGPT to take on the persona of a ChatGPT and AI expert
  • I asked it to create 10 60 character titles based on the subject, “How to study using ChatGPT”.
  • I asked ChatGPT to take on another persona, an expert in Google Organic Traffic Marketing and Title Optimization.
  • Personas force ChatGPT to narrow the focus of its knowledge base down. Limiting ChatGPT focuses it on the most important information for the job.
  • This new expert then had the job of rewriting the titles to be more “clickable”

The reason for using 2 “experts” is to make sure that the titles reflect the content first and then incentivize people to click on them.

By asking ChatGPT to focus on different parts of its knowledge set it’s like we are dealing with two different people.

Original titles:

Transform Your Study Skills with ChatGPT: Here’s How to Get Started

Now if you take a look the first set of titles looks a lot like the titles of the articles we saw on Google.

“How to use ChatGPT to Study Better”

“How to use ChatGPT in your Studies”

Pretty much they fall flat, there is nothing really exciting about them.

Take a look at the Optimized Titles. Some of them are over the character limit, (at 60 characters the entire title will show for certain, 70 is the absolute max). There is one though that I like a lot at 59 characters.

Study Smarter, Not Harder: The ChatGPT Approach to Learning

That’s GREAT!

  • It implies that you can work less if you read this article (increased desire to click)
  • It contains both study and learning both of which we have identified as important keywords
  • It implies you will be smarter just by reading the article.

So there you have it! We spent 30 seconds and got a much better title than our competitors.

4. Use ChatGPT to Write an Introduction With a Hook

Setting The Hook

Getting people to click on your title and read your post is only half the challenge. Now you need to hook them and get them to actually read your post. The best way to do that is to create a strong introduction.

Prompt

Acting as an expert creative writer, generate an intro for a blog post about [subject] that immediately captures the audience’s attention with a hook and draws them into reading the post.

– Place the literary hook close to the beginning

– when possible use storytelling

– use vivid imagery if applicable

– Place the audience in the story if you are using storytelling

[subject] How to use chatgpt to study

Sure, here’s an intro for a blog post about using ChatGPT to study that immediately captures the audience’s attention with a literary hook and draws them into reading the post:

It was the night before the final exam, and Sarah was in a panic. She had spent countless hours studying, but her notes were scattered, and she was struggling to put everything together. Just as she was about to give up hope, she remembered hearing about ChatGPT, an AI-powered tool that could help her study smarter, not harder. With nothing to lose, she decided to give it a try, and to her surprise, she found that ChatGPT could generate study prompts, summaries, and outlines that helped her make sense of the material. In this blog post, we’ll explore how you can use ChatGPT to enhance your study routine and improve your academic performance. So, if you’re tired of endless hours of mindless studying, join Sarah on her journey of discovering the power of ChatGPT and revolutionize the way you study.

Studying is not the most exciting thing for most of us but, you can see the need Sarah and how we are drawn ito her solution.

Now this may not be the “best” intro for your article. You can hit regenerate, ask for a change in tone, ask that it be shorter, or modify the prompt to match your need.

5. Use ChatGPT to Create a Snippet to Try to Get to the Top of Google

The King of Google Mountain

Everyone who uses Google has probably seen little bits of text that Google pulls out of articles to answer questions.

There are several types of snippets but we’re going to focus on the kind you see above.

There are a few important things that you need to remember.

  1. A snippet is just an answer to a question on Google.
  2. Snippets should read like text out of an encyclopedia.
  3. Snippets should be less than 300 characters long (the answer above was 315)

So we are going to ask ChatGPT to create a snippet for us with 280 characters or less. (ChatGPT is very verbose and almost always goes past the limit you set).

The snippet was updated to now include an example. testing showed 80% of the snippets that were generated with ChatGPT 3.5 and 95+ with ChatGPT 4 met the 300-character requirement when an example was included.

Prompt

Acting as an expert encyclopedia writer, generate a Google snippet that succinctly and clearly answers our [answer target] in an encyclopedic tone. Please keep in mind

– A snippet is just an answer to a question on Google.

– Snippets should read like text out of an encyclopedia.

– Snippets should be less than 280 characters long [answer target] How tokens are used with chatgpt

Example: Its chemical formula, H2O, indicates that each of its molecules contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms, connected by covalent bonds. The hydrogen atoms are attached to the oxygen atom at an angle of 104.45°. “Water” is also the name of the liquid state of H2O at standard temperature and pressure

Sure, here’s a Google snippet that succinctly and clearly answers the question “How to use ChatGPT to study” in an encyclopedic tone:

“ChatGPT is an AI language model that can help students study more effectively by generating study prompts, creating outlines, and summarizing complex concepts. By leveraging the power of AI, students can improve their study habits and retain information more efficiently.”

The only other things you should know are.

  • You should T-up your snippet by letting Google know it is the answer to the question. So right before you put in the snippet you need to prime Google.
    • Example: So here’s the big question, how can you use chatGPT to study?
  • You need to use the snippet early in the post
  • You should bold the snippet to make it even easier to find

Snippets are a great way to get more traffic but they also help readers get the most important question answered quickly.

6. Use ChatGPT to Create an Outline for a Blog Article

Outlines

Why an outline? Well even if you wanted to have ChatGPT write your article out straight away you would have a problem. The most text that it usually replies with is about 550 words. So if your article is going to be more than 500 words (for SEO 1,000 is the minimum), you are going to need to work around this. Of course you could just use the outline to help you structure your article and write the rest youself….

Ok so first we are going to use an iterative prompt. All that means is ChatGPT is going to keep asking us questions until we get the result we need.

Prompt #1 of 2

I want you to become my Prompt Engineer. Your goal is to help me craft the best possible prompt for my needs.
The Prompt that you will be crafting should take these variables into account.

Audience: General Public
Tone: Friendly and Funny
Persona: Education expert and teacher

Text Length: 2000 words

Goal For the Prompt: Teaching the subject of this blog post in an entertaining fashion

The prompt will be used by you, ChatGPT. You will follow the following process:

1. Your first response will be to ask me what the prompt should be about. I will provide my answer, but we will need to improve it through continual iterations by going through the next steps. Do not do anything except ask for the subject in your first response.

2. Based on my input, you will generate 3 sections.

a) Revised prompt (provide your rewritten prompt. it should be clear, concise, and easily understood by you), the prompt should begin with

“Acting as a ” and the persona we have chosen,” write”, text length we have chosen,” using the” tone that we have chosen, “with the” goal that we have chosen, “for the” audience we have chosen.

b) Suggestions (provide suggestions on what details to include in the prompt to improve it), and

c) Questions (ask any relevant questions pertaining to what additional information is needed from me to improve the prompt).”

Great! What would you like the prompt to be about?

How to use ChatGPT to study

…….. (a few iterations later)….

Thank you for clarifying! Based on your feedback, here’s an updated version of the sections:

a) Revised prompt: Acting as an education expert and teacher, write a 2000-word blog article using a friendly and funny tone, with the goal of teaching the general public how to study using ChatGPT in an interactive way. The prompt should include anecdotes to make it more entertaining, and cover an introduction to ChatGPT and how it can be used for studying, as well as tips for effectively utilizing ChatGPT as a study tool with a focus on interactive learning, including flashcard style studying, quizzing and testing understanding of concepts.

b) Suggestions: In order to make the prompt as engaging as possible, you may want to consider including:

An introduction to ChatGPT and its potential as a study tool, particularly in terms of interactive learning

Tips for creating effective flashcards and utilizing ChatGPT as a flashcard machine

Examples of how ChatGPT can be used for interactive quizzing and testing of understanding, and tips for getting the most out of these features

Anecdotes and stories about ChatGPT to keep the tone light and engaging

Real-life success stories from students who have used ChatGPT for interactive studying

Of course we can keep going with this and the prompt will be added to as we answer questions.

Prompt #2 of 2

Acting like a experienced article writer, please use the prompt, suggestions, and questions from ChatGPTs last response to create an outline for a blog article. The outline should be as detailed as possible, please include any additional information that you think relevant to the outline.

Sure, here’s a detailed outline for the blog article:

I. Introduction

Briefly introduce the topic of studying with ChatGPT as an interactive learning tool

Explain the benefits of using ChatGPT for studying, particularly in terms of flashcard-style studying, quizzing, and testing understanding of concepts

II. An Introduction to ChatGPT and Its Potential as a Study Tool

Define what ChatGPT is and how it works

Highlight the potential benefits of using ChatGPT as a study tool, such as its ability to provide personalized feedback and adapt to individual learning styles

Discuss how ChatGPT can be used as a flashcard machine, quizzing tool, and testing platform for students

—————————- A bunch more sections I removed ————————————

VI. Anecdotes and Success Stories

Share anecdotes and stories about ChatGPT to keep the tone light and engaging

Share real-life success stories from students who have used ChatGPT to improve their studying habits through interactive learning

VII. Tips for Effectively Utilizing ChatGPT as a Study Tool

Summarize the tips provided throughout the article for using ChatGPT as a study tool

Provide additional tips for effectively utilizing ChatGPT as a study tool, such as setting goals and using it consistently

VIII. Conclusion

Summarize the benefits of using ChatGPT as a study tool for interactive learning

Encourage readers to try using ChatGPT for studying and share their own success stories

Hope this helps!

Ok so now we have an outline. You can stop here and write it yourself or… You can have CHatGPT write an article for you. For some subjects, this will probably work, but for this one where you need to create and test ChatGPT prompts not so much. You can create the “bones” of an article but there is still a lot of research left to do. Let’s see what it produces though before we throw it all out.

7. Use ChatGPT to Write a Blog Article

Human or Robot?

The fact is no one knows how Google is going to treat AI-written blog posts. My best guess is that it’s going to be measuring to see if the content is useful.

The following prompt uses the outline that we generated and the last section to create our blog post. Since we’re creating a blog post that has more than 500 Words, we’re going to need to do it in pieces. That’s because in general chat GPT will only respond with about 550 words at a time. So let’s take a look at how it works.

(This is a very long prompt and will require you to paste in an outline that you have generated. Please see the prompts above if you need help doing that).

We will only have chat GPT right out Section VIII of our outline with this prompt. You will need to change the number of the section that you are writing and repaste the prompt in each time to get a new section of the outline written.

START OF PROMPT

Hi ChatGPT thanks for the outline. We are now going to turn it into a blog article.

…………………………………… (The rest of the outline would normally be pasted in as well) ………………………..

VIII. Conclusion

Summarize the benefits of using ChatGPT as a study tool for interactive learning
Encourage readers to try using ChatGPT for studying and share their own success stories”

Just to remind you the entire blog article, will be [text length] written by [Expert #1], with this [tone], with the goal of teaching the [audience] [subject] in an interactive and fun way.

We will be writing each section of the blog article separately, please only write out the section requested.

[text length] 2000+ words
[Expert #1] an enthusiastic education expert and teacher
[tone] with a friendly and funny tone
[audience] the general public
[subject] How to study using ChatGPT

[section VIII]

VIII. Tips for Effectively Utilizing ChatGPT as a Study Tool

Now that we’ve covered the benefits and potential of using ChatGPT as a study tool, let’s dive into some tips for effectively utilizing it to improve your learning experience.

Set Goals: Before starting your study session with ChatGPT, set specific goals for what you want to accomplish. Do you want to master a certain topic, or simply review what you’ve learned so far? Having a clear idea of what you want to achieve can help you stay focused and motivated.

Consistency is Key: Consistency is essential to making progress with any learning method, and using ChatGPT is no different. Try to set aside a consistent time each day or week to study with ChatGPT, and make it a habit.

Use Variety: While ChatGPT can be a great tool for flashcards, quizzes, and testing, don’t rely on just one type of activity. Mix it up and try different exercises to keep your learning experience fresh and engaging.

Keep it Concise: When creating flashcards or quizzes, try to keep the content concise and to the point. This will help you focus on the most important information and prevent overload.

Use Visuals: Incorporating visuals such as diagrams or pictures into your flashcards or quizzes can help you retain information better and make it more memorable.

Analyze Feedback: One of the greatest benefits of using ChatGPT as a study tool is the personalized feedback it provides. Take the time to analyze the feedback and use it to improve your studying habits.

Experiment: Don’t be afraid to experiment with different approaches to studying with ChatGPT. Try out new activities or adjust your study routine to find what works best for you.

By following these tips, you can make the most out of your study sessions with ChatGPT and achieve your learning goals. Remember, the key to success is consistency and experimentation. Happy studying!

That’s not too bad for a conclusion. A lot of the other content of the article will take a bunch of work.

Now to generate some interesting pictures to go with the Instagram Posts.

Acting as an expert on creating images using text to image ai programs. I need you to help me to craft 5 image descriptions that will be used with a text to image ai image generator. The text to image descriptions need to feature human beings, computers , or robots.

Certainly, here are five image descriptions featuring human beings, computers, or robots that can be used with a text to image AI image generator:

A humanoid robot standing in front of a bank of computer screens, with wires and circuits visible through its transparent torso. The robot’s metallic fingers are typing furiously on a keyboard, and its eyes glow with the intensity of its programming.

A group of scientists working in a high-tech laboratory, surrounded by state-of-the-art computers and machinery. They are all wearing lab coats and safety goggles, and are deeply focused on their work as they examine data on the screens in front of them.

A cybernetically-enhanced human, with wires and circuits visible through their skin. They are seated in front of a glowing computer screen, their fingers tapping rapidly on the keyboard as they hack into a secure system.

A team of astronauts standing in front of a massive rocket, ready to embark on a journey into deep space. They are wearing sleek spacesuits and helmets, and the rocket’s engines are already roaring to life in preparation for launch.

A futuristic cityscape, with towering skyscrapers and flying cars zipping through the air. In the foreground, a group of people are gathered around a holographic display, gesturing excitedly as they interact with a virtual reality simulation.

Using Stability AI you get pictures to use in your posts like this.

12. Create A Content Cluster Using ChatGPT

Interlinking Content

One SEO method that is effective is to write a cluster of information about a particular subject and then interlink the posts. This will give your blog topical authority.

We used a validation method previously to determine if people were actually searching for our subject, in section #1 about brainstorming. It is possible that you will generate ideas there that will both have validated search volume and be very close to the subject of the current article.

If you don’t you can use this prompt though to find other subjects to put in a “Content Cluster” and interlink.

The best practice would be to validate both that your content cluster subjects have search volume and that they are not overly competitive, (you are not going to beat the New York Times). (See Section #1 for details). If the subject is small and quick to write a post about though you may want to just go for it anyway.

You can use this prompt to help you find some ideas.

Acting as [Expert #1] please suggest 10 popular questions that people who are reading an article about [subject] would also be asking besides what is being covered in the article.

[Expert #1] Is an expert in education using technology and Artificial Intelligence

13. Use an Existing List Article and ChatGPT to Create a Content Cluster

The Beauty of Connectedness

For list-type articles (like th one you are reading), you can break out some of the topics on the list and expand them into a stand alone article. If you are careful you get a few great benefits out of this.

  1. You get additional traffic to your Blog by creating an article that Google is more likely to show for a query about that subject.
  2. The list article is a resource that will tend to get links. That means link juice! You can route part of it to the new article by placing a link to it.
  3. You can link back to the list article from the stand alone article to improve its organic rank.
  4. You are confirming for Google that your website should have topical authority getting you even better organic rank.
  5. What’s the catch? You need to make sure that you are adding value, don’t just repeat what you have already written.

21. Have ChatGPT Find Exact Search Queries

Google Trends is one of the best ways to validate search volume (better than AHrefs and MOZ), but… You have to know the exact search query people are using to use it. ( You can find a post on how to use Google Trends to find Search Volume Here ).

Exact Search Query Tool

Search Query

If you prefer to use ChatGPT here is the prompt.

Exact Search Query Prompt

Please act as a psychologist that studies search engine behavior.

Use these rules as well as any others that you determine relevant to streamline a search query {SUBJECT} while retaining most of its intent.

Rules:

Eliminate unnecessary words: Cut out any ‘fluff’ words that do not directly contribute to the core meaning of the query. This usually involves removing filler words or prepositions.

Use common language and phrases: Most people use everyday language in their search queries, not technical or overly specific terms. Try to anticipate what the average person would type.

Use action words: Including action words like “how to”, “learn to”, “get”, “find”, “make”, etc., can help attract users who are looking for instructions or guides, pricing, determining, and gerunds, in general, are also used to create action phrases.

Keyword focus: Maintain the main keywords of the original query as much as possible, these are often the subject of the query. Synonyms of the main verbs also may be used.

Prioritize common language and phrases: People typically use casual, everyday language in their search queries. Avoid using overly technical or specific terminology unless it is directly related to the search intent.

The goal is to find searches that have measurable amounts of search volume that are directly related to a query. Often the “measurable” query will be what a beginner would type to find information about a subject, it will be the most popular related search query.

Known Examples of User Behavior:

how to whistle a tune —> whistle a tune
how to whistle a tune —> learn to whistle
how to whistle a tune —> how to learn to whistle
how to price your candy products —> pricing candy
how to price your candy products —> how to price candy
how to price your candy products —> determine candy price
how to price your candy products —> price candy
how to price your candy products —> costing candy
how to price your candy products —> price candy products

Please apply your rules and examples to {SUBJECT} and suggest how it would be modified when searched on Google while retaining as much search intent as possible, give several examples of how the query might be modified with the list being ordered as most popular first. The goal of the list is not to find the shortest query but the most popular one in terms of search volume.

{SUBJECT} = How to price your candy products

When applying the rules and examples to the query “How to price your candy products” and considering user behavior, the following modified search queries can be suggested in order of popularity:

  1. Pricing candy
  2. How to price candy
  3. Determine candy pricing
  4. Price candy
  5. Costing candy products

These modified queries retain the core intent of the original search while streamlining the wording and using common language and action words. By eliminating unnecessary words and focusing on the main keywords, these modified queries are more likely to match the search behavior of users and have measurable search volume.

22. Have ChatGPT Test Keyword Difficulty

This prompt requires that paid version of ChatGPT and a Plugin like, Access Link or Ask Link Bot because it directly accesses Google to do the analysis, and SEO Core AI to find approximate search volume. Let’s take a look.

I am going to first pull some data from AHref’s free tool for us to compare. The search volume is monthly searches and KD = keyword difficulty, which goes from 0-100. Keep in mind that search volumes under about 10K searches/month are pretty much guesswork (even for Ahrefs). I have seen really wrong search volumes on bigger keywords as well.

Check Google Keyword Competition

Please act as an expert on SEO. I am going to give you a list of 10 keywords and I want you to analyze,

1) Go to Google and search for a keyword on the list (you will be repeating this for each keyword)
2) Observe the top 5 organic results., are they from very popular websites (Wikipedia, NYT, etc..)

3) Are they from well-known sites for the keyword niche that we are studying?
4) Is the search navigational for a website? It should be marked as very hard
5) Do the titles of the top 5 organic results meet the search intent of the keyword we are searching?
6) Based on this data, if there are 2-3 very popular websites and the titles of their pages meet search intent then we’ll say the keyword competition is very hard.
7) If there are 2-3  well-known sites for the keyword niche and the titles of their pages meet search intent then we’ll say the keyword competition is hard.
8) Based on this data, if there are 2-3 very popular websites and the titles of their pages do not meet search intent then we’ll say the keyword competition is hard.
9) If there are 2-3  well-known sites for the keyword niche and the titles of their pages do not meet search intent then we’ll say the keyword competition is medium.
10) If there are only 1 or fewer sites that are well-known sites for the keyword niche and the titles of their pages do not meet search intent then we’ll say the keyword competition is easy.

Sometimes I find that ChatGPT does not give approximate search volume and sometimes it does. You can always paste the table back in to get the approximate search volume, but… I think you would be better off learning to estimate search volume using Google Trends.

In order to get Google to index and value your work it always helps to have topically relevant articles linked together. One simple way to do this is to create a “Related Articles” section at the end of your articles.

To entice people to use the links and to vary the link keywords we’ll use ChatGPT to create “enticing” links. I have written this to use a “link reader plugin”, there are many available in the plugin store for ChatGPT. I am currently using one called web access.

You can also modify this prompt slightly and cut and paste in articles one at a time. The benefit of using the plugins is that you can do 5 at a time with no cutting and pasting. Requires a paid ChatGPT account.
